Ted Piccard
Ted Piccard (born November 30, 1978 in Les Saisies ) is a French ski racer. He is the youngest of the seven Piccard siblings - his brothers Franck , John , Ian and Jeff and sister Leila were also skiers.
Compared to his better-known siblings, Ted was less successful in alpine skiing . He only won two FIS races and started a few times in the European Cup , but without scoring.
During his studies in the USA, Ted Piccard was on the ski team at Sierra Nevada College in Nevada . In America Piccard also started with ski cross . In 2005 he started in the FIS Ski Cross World Cup, which was only introduced in 2002 . The Frenchman has so far achieved eight races among the top ten and fifth in the 2007/2008 overall discipline ranking .
