Jeff Piccard (born December 16, 1976 in Les Saisies ) is a former French ski racer . His strongest discipline was the giant slalom . The siblings Franck , John , Leila , Ian and Ted were also ski racers.

Career

Piccard had his first great success at the Junior World Championship in March 1995 when he won the bronze medal in the giant slalom. In the European Cup he was able to take the podium eight times and celebrate two victories, in the 1997/98 season he reached fifth place overall. Piccard made his debut in the World Cup on November 25, 1996 in the giant slalom in Park City , where he immediately reached eleventh place. This result also remained his best in the World Cup, after which he was able to place in the top 15 twice. He drove his last race in the Ski World Cup on December 4, 2004 and then competed in several FIS races and the French Championships in 2005. His only participation in world championships remained unsuccessful, in St. Anton 2001 he was eliminated in the first round of the giant slalom.
