Teflon Fonfara (born before 1949 in southern Germany ) is a German musician.

Life

With the boy scouts he learned to play the hiking guitar , for his confirmation he got his first electric guitar , in 1965 Fonfara founded the beat band "The Pleasures". In 1973 the drummer Günter Klinger switched from the group " Eulenspygel " to the band Fonfaras at the time, which initially took the name "Eulenspygel" and after a legal dispute was renamed "Tyll". In 2004, Teflon Fonfara published the world's first online meditation on the German-speaking network. This is a free course for all those who want to learn the relaxation exercise he developed 20 years ago.

In April 2007 the CD "The Ultimate Smoke On The Water Show" was released for the guitar world record 2007, Fonfara is involved with 2 versions of the Deep Purple classic, once with the "Indian Version of Smoke on the Water" (performed by Teflon Fonfara´s ASIAN STARS) and further with a comic version (performed by Mrs. Kächele & Mrs. Peters). In 2012 he published the books "The Guitar Conspiracy - Hidden Secrets of a Musical Instrument" and "Poetry, Joke & Truth - My Daily Facebook Sayings". In January 2013 "The Power of Spiritual Transformation - Humor, Harmony, Healing" was published. In April 2020 the book "The new station is finished - Mrs. Kächele & Mrs. Peters on the way" was published.

The name

He adopted the stage name "Teflon" when the NDW LPs appeared, "Fonfara" is his real family name. The artist name "Teflon Fonfara" has been on the official ID since 1990. When, in 2003, the Swiss chemical company DuPont, as the legal trademark owner of the term " Teflon ", wanted to prohibit the artist from using the protected term "Teflon", Teflon Fonfara was able to legally prove that he had called himself that since 1982 and an agreement was reached to the effect that Teflon Fonfara can continue to call himself that in connection with his artistic work.
