Dough figures
Chinese tò he or Teigmännchen (Ch. Miànrén面人/麵人or miànrénr面人儿/麵人人; niēmiànrén捏面人; miànsù面塑; Engl. Dough figurines ) are made of colored glutinous rice flour shaped figures.
The art of making them is prevalent in northern China .

The People's Republic of China's Intangible Cultural Heritage List includes:
- Beijing mianren Lang ( Haidian District , Beijing )
- Shanghai mianren Zhao ( Shanghai Arts and Crafts Research Institute )
- Caozhou mianren ( Mudan District , Heze , Shandong Province )
- Caoxian jiangmiren ( Cao County, Shandong Province)
Written records of their manufacture date back to the Han Dynasty .
