The Teisendorfer Hütte is a self-catering Alpine Club hut belonging to the Teisendorf section of the German Alpine Club , at the Predigtstuhl in the Berchtesgaden Alps .
history
Construction of the hut began before the Second World War on behalf of the owner of the Predigtstuhl Hotel . At the end of World War II, the hut was confiscated. Windows, tiled stove, partition walls and the coffered ceiling in the large room were already installed at this time. When the hut was returned to its owner, he sold it to the Bavarian state forest .
The hut was not completed for 50 years, although building materials were still stored at the hut.
location
The Teisendorfer Hütte is located just below the summit of the Predigtstuhl in the Lattengebirge in the Berchtesgaden Alps, not far from the mountain station of the Predigtstuhlbahn .
use
The hut may only be used by members of the Teisendorf section and their guests. The key for the Teisendorfer hut is only given to adult members of the Teisendorf section by the hut warden.
Access
The hut is 250 m from the mountain station of the Predigtstuhlbahn . Further accesses are: Alpgartensteig, Moosensteig, over Spechtenkopf, past the Steinernen Agnes, over Hochplatte and Dreisesselberg and the Waxriessteig.
