TeleNapf - Tele Zentralschweiz is a private television broadcaster in Switzerland for the Central Switzerland region . Until January 2014 the station was called TeleNapf. Since the station will be broadcast throughout German-speaking Switzerland from February 2014, it has been renamed TeleNapf - Tele Zentralschweiz. The studios are located in Reiden .

program

An hourly program is designed daily, including advertising and trailers, which is repeated in a continuous loop. The focus is on reports from the region and service topics, as well as short reports, often with product placement, such as in the show Sarah makes it. The contributions are available on a YouTube channel outside of the live broadcasting platforms.

HDTV

TeleNapf - Tele Zentralschweiz is the first regional and local broadcaster from German-speaking Switzerland to switch completely to High Definition Television (HDTV). The AZ-Media Group announced almost simultaneously with the then known TeleNapf to the three stations TeleBärn , Tele M1 and TeleZüri would change in March 2014 on HDTV. However, TeleNapf switched to HDTV two months before the AZ Medien channels.

history

The station was founded in 1995 as "TeleNapf" by the local newspaper Willisauer Bote . Until 1998 the station was only a screen text. In the same year, the station was taken over by Werner Kost and redesigned. The first contributions were broadcast as early as 1999. In 2002 the 4800 households in the Willisau region were increased to over 12,000. The Sempachersee region was also added. There the station was called “Tele Pilatus Blick”. The program was largely identical to TeleNapf. In 2008 there was a switch to digital broadcasting, and in 2010 the image format was changed from 4: 3 to 16: 9. The station has also been receivable in individual regions of the cantons of Zurich , Aargau and Schwyz since 2010 . Werner Kost is the managing director and editor-in-chief. The team consists largely of freelance journalists. The station regularly produces regional reports. In terms of content, the station is geared towards the citizen.

At the end of 2017, the Lucerne cable network EBL switched from Quickline to UPC Switzerland . In the course of this major switchover, the station was switched off without notice because, according to UPC Switzerland, there was a lack of quality and content. As of December 1, 2017, the TeleNapf station can only be received via IPTV. There are no longer any normal analog or digital broadcasts on cable networks.
