Telemos
Telemos ( Greek Τήλεμος , Latinized Telemus) is a fortune teller of Greek mythology .
Telemos, a son of Eurymos , comes to Sicily to warn the Cyclops en Polyphemus , who lives there, of Odysseus , whose arrival is imminent. He announces to the giant that he will lose his eye in the confrontation with the cunning Ithacian if he is not careful. Polyphemus, certain of his own physical strength, laughs at this warning until years later his fate overtakes him and he is blinded by Odysseus.
