content

The student Mayo Sakurada is not good at talking to others, has a low voice and is shy. So she doesn't manage to address her crush Kota Aoba either. But because of her shyness, Mayo is hired by her aunt for their listening agency, where people can tell their worries and they are simply listened to. But Mayo's first customer is Kota Aoba, who doesn't recognize Mayo because of her disguise. But Kota feels uncomfortable and quickly breaks off the conversation. When he comes back some time later, he speaks out: Although he is one of the best basketball players at school and is supposed to take part in a tournament with the school team, he actually hates the sport and is unhappy. Mayo then reprimands him, breaking the agency's rules.

Even if she can no longer speak to Kota in the agency, she still wants to help him. Because she knows from her own experience how liberating it can be to talk about your worries. A few years ago she was able to tell Aoba about all of her problems with her parents' divorce at the time and so cope better with them. So she meets with him again, confronts him with his worries and wants to be a support. But Aoba doesn't want to talk any further about why he hates basketball at first. So Mayo becomes the manager of the basketball team in order to learn more about his problems and to be able to support him there.
