The Tempus-Editor text editor is used via the GEM user interface . The editor was written entirely in assembler for TOS . The Tempus Editor came out on top in a benchmark by ST-Computer magazine in 1987. Version 2.0 of the editor appeared in 1988 with additional functions such as macro and blitter support.
Tempus-Editor was also used as a benchmark in the following years, e.g. B. in the modification of the Atari ST with an accelerator board in 1989.
In 1990, CCD published the word processing program Tempus-Word as successor software .
