Temsamane ( Zentralatlas-Tamazight ⵜⵎⵙⴰⵎⴰⵏ ) is a town in the Rif Mountains in northern Morocco , which became known through the Rif War (1921) of the Rifkabylenes under Mohammed Abd al-Karim against the French and Spanish colonial powers.
The Norwegian soccer player Hassan El Fakiri was born in Temsamane in 1977.
