Teodorów is a village in Poland in the Łódź Voivodeship . The place belongs to Gmina Brzeziny .

history

In 1801 - the area had come to Prussia eight years earlier with the second Polish division as part of South Prussia - the first entries relating to the newly founded village of Teodorów can be found in Stare Skoszewy's Catholic church book . The settlers were predominantly Protestant and of German origin, but there was also a family of Orthodox faith among them.

In 1807 the region became part of the newly established Duchy of Warsaw , and from 1815 it was part of Congress Poland .

In 1825 there were 7 settler places with 65 inhabitants (including servants) in Boginia, ten years later there were only 6 places where 6 colonists with 30 dependents lived (since at that time the servants made up about 30% of the village population , the actual number of inhabitants is likely to have been around 47). At the time, the place, together with part Plichtów and Laski or Byszewy in which also German settlers lived, the basic rule of Moscow .

With the establishment of the Protestant parish Brzeziny in 1826 Teodorów was parish there.

From 1859 to 1954 Teodorów belonged to the Gmina (municipality) Lipiny .

At the end of the 19th century there were still only six houses with 57 inhabitants in the village.

At the time of the German occupation in World War II , Teodorów belonged to the Reichsgau Wartheland .
