Teodoro D. Cocca

Teodoro D. Cocca (* 1972 in Zurich , resident in Schlieren ) is a Swiss economist and university professor . He is a professor of asset management and a member of the Research Institute for Banking at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz . He heads the Asset Management department at the Institute for Corporate Finance and was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics in October 2011.

Life

Teodoro D. Cocca studied business administration at the University of Zurich (1992–1998). He worked for Citibank for several years in investment and private banking (1995–1998), conducted research at the Stern School of Business in New York City (2003–2004) and taught at the Swiss Banking Institute at the University of Zurich (1998–2006).

Since 2006 he has been head of the asset management department at the JKU. In 2007 he became a member of the Research Institute for Banking. He is a lecturer in banking and finance at the University of Zurich, speaker at academic and international conferences and also works as a consultant for a number of financial institutions. As a banking expert, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of GG Geneva Group International AG , based in Zurich, since March 2010 . Since April 2011 he has been a member of the board of directors of Verwaltungs- und Privat-Bank Aktiengesellschaft based in Vaduz.
