Teppei Nishiyama ( Japanese 西山 哲平 , Nishiyama Teppei ; born February 22, 1975 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Nishiyama learned to play soccer on the school team at Senshu University Matsudo High School . He signed his first contract with Criciúma EC in Brazil in 1992 . In 1993 he moved back to Japan to Fujita Industries (Bellmare Hiratsuka). The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 1993 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . In 1994 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . For the club he completed 93 first division games. In 2000 he moved to the second division Montedio Yamagata . For the club he completed 77 games. In 2002 he moved to league competitor Ōita Trinita . In 2002 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. In 2008 he won the J.League Cup with the club . For the club he completed 153 games. At the end of 2009 he ended his career as a football player.
