Terje Halleland

Terje Halleland (born April 14, 1966 ) is a Norwegian politician of the right-wing Fremskrittspartiet (FrP). He has been a member of parliament in Storting since 2017 .

Life

Halleland is a trained builder. In 2007 he first moved into the Fylkesting of the Rogaland Province . Between 2011 and 2015 he served as deputy Fylkesordfører ( Fylkesvaraordfører ). From April 15, 2016 to April 30, 2017, Halleland acted as Acting State Secretary in Landbruks- og matdepartementet , the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

In the parliamentary elections in 2005 and 2009 , Halleland missed entry into the Norwegian national parliament in Storting . He finally moved into parliament for the first time in the 2017 election. There he represents the constituency of Rogaland and is a member of the Energy and Environment Committee.
