history

Terrain: loenhart & mayr was founded in 2003 by Klaus K. Loenhart and Christoph Mayr.

Klaus K. Loenhart studied architecture at the Munich University of Applied Sciences and practiced at Herzog & de Meuron . At the Harvard Graduate School of Design in Cambridge (USA) he studied landscape architecture as well as design history and theory and gained his first experience in teaching. In 2006 he was appointed professor and institute director at the Graz University of Technology .

Christoph Mayr first studied interior design at the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences , then architecture at the Munich University of Applied Sciences. Before founding terrain: loenhart & mayr, he worked for Uwe Kiessler and in several partnerships.
