The Terror Saddle is one of the three distinctive mountain saddles on the Antarctic Ross Island , along with the Bird Saddle and the Terra Nova Saddle . It runs at an altitude of around 1600 m between the 2130 m high Mount Terra Nova in the west and the 3262 m high Mount Terror in the east.
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2001 based on the neighboring mountain of the same name.
