Terry Stafford
Terry Stafford (born November 22, 1941 in Hollis , Oklahoma , † March 17, 1996 in Amarillo , Texas ) was an American singer.
Life
Terry Stafford grew up in Amarillo, Texas. After high school graduation in Palo Duro High School in Amarillo, he went to Los Angeles to become a musician. Due to the similarity of voices with Elvis Presley , Stafford was able to achieve its first chart placement with the song Suspicion in 1964. The song Suspicion was written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman for Elvis Presley, who could not land a hit with it.
