Testwell ctc ++

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Testwell CTC ++ Test Coverage Analyzer for C and C ++ is a tool for measuring the test coverage ( code coverage or test coverage) in C and C ++ projects.

The tool is available for Windows , Linux , Solaris , HP-UX , OS X and AIX and works with all compilers . When developing embedded systems , code coverage can be measured in basically all (even the smallest) targets.

Testwell CTC ++ analyzes all test coverage levels up to modified condition coverage and thus includes the modified condition / decision test (MC / DC coverage) required for safety standards. The tool is therefore suitable for use in safety-critical projects with the highest demands on code quality and covers, among other things, the industry standards DO-178B and DO-178C ( aviation ), IEC 61508 (development of electrical, electronic and programmable electronic (E / E / PE) systems), ISO 26262 ( road vehicles ), EN 50128 ( railways ) and IEC 60880 ( nuclear power ).

From 1989 the tool was developed by Nokia Data Systems Oy. Testwell CTC ++ has been further developed by Testwell Oy from Tampere ( Finland ) since 1992 . In 2013, the ownership rights to Testwell CTC ++ were taken over from the previous distributor Verifysoft Technology GmbH ( Offenburg ).
