The Tether rock is a rocky outcrop 1.5 km north of the ridge Lindstrom Ridge in the Darwin Mountains . It marks the northern end of the Access Slope , the route over the Circle Icefall in the upper section of the Darwin Glacier .
It got its name from the subglacial connection ( English tether ) with the Lindstrom Ridge.
