The Access Slope (loosely translated: Access steep slope ) is an ice slope between the north end of the ridge Lindstrom Ridge and Tether rock in the meteorites Hills of Darwin Mountains .
It is located at the western end of the Circle Icefall in the Darwin Glacier and represents the only possible ascent (English: access ) over the icefall. The Darwin Glacier Team of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958 ) took the descriptive name ) who were the first to venture down this route.
