The Tetsa River is a left tributary of the Muskwa River in the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality in the north of the Canadian province of British Columbia .
The Tetsa River rises on the northern slope of Tetsa Peak in the Muskwa Ranges , a part of the northern Canadian Rockies . It flows north through the mountains. At the confluence of the North Tetsa River , the river leaves the Northern Rocky Mountains Provincial Park . It now flows in an easterly direction. He passes the small Tetsa River Regional Park , which is located at Tetsa River and on the Alaska Highway ( British Columbia Highway 97 ) at kilometer 558. Eventually the Tetsa River flows into the Muskwa River, which flows northeast. The Tetsa River has a length of about 90 km.
