Tetsuya Funatsu ( Japanese 舩 津 徹 也 Funatsu Tetsuya ; born February 9, 1987 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Funatsu learned to play football on the university team of Biwako Seikei Sport College . He signed his first contract with Kataller Toyama in 2009 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club, he completed 99 league games. In 2012 he was loaned to the first division club Cerezo Osaka . For the club, he completed five first division games. In 2013 he returned to Kataller Toyama. For the club he completed 37 league games. In 2014 he moved to league competitor Montedio Yamagata . In 2014 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . At the end of the 2014 season, the club rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 22 league games. In 2016 he moved to the second division Thespakusatsu Gunma . At the end of the 2017 season, the club was relegated to the J3 League .
