The Teufelstättkopf is a 1758 m high mountain in the Ammergau Alps on the border between the communities of Unterammergau and Saulgrub .
The summit can be reached as a mountain hike (a little surefootedness ) from Linderhof Palace , Oberammergau or Unterammergau via the August-Schuster-Haus . In addition, the Teufelstättkopf is a popular ski tour destination in winter.
The way to the August-Schuster-Haus can easily be mastered in about two hours from all directions. From there, the summit can be reached in about half an hour, but hands must be used for the last few meters (sure-footedness and a head for heights required).
