Thuringian Ministry of Agriculture and Forests

The Thuringian Ministry of Agriculture and Forests was a ministry of the Free State of Thuringia based in the state capital Erfurt and existed from 1990 to 1994.

During the term of office of the Thuringian state government during the 1st legislative period of the Thuringian state parliament, the ministry was mainly responsible for the tasks of the agricultural and forestry administration. Volker Sklenar ( CDU ) was Minister for Agriculture and Forestry . After the state elections in Thuringia in 1994 , the Thuringian Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry was merged with the Thuringian Ministry of Environment and Regional Planning on November 30, 1994 to form the Thuringian Ministry of Agriculture, Nature Conservation and Environment .
