Thanassis Totsikas

Thanassis Totsikas ( Greek Θανάσης Τότσικας , * 1951 in Nikea ) is a Greek installation artist .

life and work

Thanassis Totsikas studied from 1967 to 1970 at the Athens School of Fine Arts and the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris .

International exhibitions in which Totsikas participated are documenta IX in Kassel in 1992 and the 47th Venice Biennale in 1997 in Venice

In 2003, at the Outlook Athens exhibition in the Benaki Museum , Thanassis Totsikas showed a photo of a stripped man in a compromising pose with a watermelon.
