The 5.6.7.8's are a Japanese rock band formed in 1986.

history

The band was founded by the sisters Ronnie Yoshiko Fujiyama (vocals, guitar) and Sachiko Fujii (drums). The first line-up also included Rico (guitar) and Yoshie (bass), who dropped out before the first recordings and was replaced by Mikako (bass). Mikako and Rico left in 1990 to start their own band and were replaced by Eddie (guitar) and Saki Omo (bass). After Eddie's exit, the formation shrank to a trio in 1992 . In 1996 Saki Omo was replaced by Yama (bass, vocals), but Omo was sometimes back in some live performances in 2003.
