The Belgian Stallion

The Belgian Stallion (born October 14, 1982 in Wiesbaden ; bourgeois Patrick Van Hecke ) is a German musician who mainly appears as a live act .

Life

In 2006 Patrick Van Hecke was best known for his music project Dirrrty Franz & the B-Side Boyz , in which he appeared as a rapper and producer. From 2008 he performed for the first time under the stage name The Belgian Stallion and played breakcore and gabba in small locations such as the Idstein youth center .

His first official release is called Methlab and was released in 2013 on the ZYX Music label . Since then he has been releasing EPs and singles on various labels regularly. Since 2018 he has also appeared regularly as a live act and is resident of the Hard Bock Drauf event series . He calls his style of music "From Hardtekk to Frenchcore ".

His breakthrough came with his remix of the song Gras in der Luft, in which rappers Crystal F , KDM Shey , Tamas , Nils Davis and Chazer One were also involved. This song was particularly successful on Youtube and Spotify . On Spotify, the remix reached number 42 in the "Viral 50 Germany" charts on Spotify in October 2019.
