History of origin

Cover of The Best of City

After German reunification , Toni Krahl and Fritz Puppel Band City founded the label K&P Music, which released albums by the former GDR band Karat and the new discovery The Inchtabokatables , among other things . One of the first releases was a best of their own band City. At this point the band was not active. The distribution of the album was taken over by BMG .

The album contains songs from all previous City albums that were originally released on Amiga at the time . The remastering was carried out by City in the Schreier & Kramer Studios in Berlin. The song Am Fenster from the album of the same name (1977) was released in two versions, a short edit version and a special version. The latest material are the two songs Morgenmond and Dünne Luft , which were written in 1990 and published on the album Keine Angst (BMG Music Publishing).
