The Black and White Album is the fifth studio album by the Swedish alternative rock band The Hives . The album is known for the songs Tick ​​Tick Boom , THEHIVES and Won't Be Long (title track of a Suzuki advertising campaign for Germany).

According to lead singer Pelle Almqvist, the title of the album refers to the current generation of humanity, which is increasingly growing apart. Contrast Black and White (black and white), which especially finds expression in the uniform black and white clothes of the band, the danger is to emphasize the inconsistent world. The band firmly believes in the future unification and unification of all generations of the crowd. The suits represent a kind of uniform, which should represent the equality of all.

Singles

In 2007, shortly before the album was released, the first single Tick ​​Tick Boom was released. In addition, a first music video for the single was also released.
