Ashok, who lives in Bombay, can only survive in the metropolis with tricks. As a fraudster, he gets hold of a camera to work as a photographer for a newspaper. In fact, he got the job and on the very first day, ignorantly messing with his young boss Seema. She lives with her uncle and inherited the newspaper from her father. She changes her mind about Ashok when a certain Kumar tries to ask for her hand. Seema tries to get close to Ashok and the two fall in love, not to the delight of their uncle and Kumar. The situation becomes even more difficult when Ashok's mother Jumna comes to visit from the village. The villagers' savings have been stolen from her and now she is hoping for the support of her son, whom she believes is an influential man.
With the appearance of his mother, Ashok can no longer keep his invented identity. Above all, Seema is very disappointed. Now Ashok tries to achieve his goals with the truth and wants to prove to Seema how much he loves her. In fact, Seema and Ashok get behind Kumar's true intentions, because Kumar is really only interested in Seema's money and is in cahoots with her uncle. Ashok and Seema then come up with a plan together, with Seema telling her uncle and Kumar that the other wants to keep the entire fortune to himself. First everything goes according to plan until Kumar sees through their game and takes Ashok's mother hostage. With this blackmail he tries to usurp the whole fortune. Seema agrees and comes to the agreed place, but not alone because Ashok accompanies her secretly. There is some turmoil until Kumar is finally arrested by the police.
