The Bravery is an American rock band that was formed in New York in early 2003 . Her music has clear influences from the American post-punk and New Waves of the 1980s.

history

When the single An Honest Mistake was released in early March 2005 , it immediately rose to number 7 on the British singles chart. The album The Bravery , released two weeks later, reached number 5.

The Bravery opened up for Depeche Mode's 2006 European tour . They also opened up for Linkin Park's European tour in 2008 .

On May 22, 2007, another album, The Sun and the Moon , was released, which has significantly fewer electronic elements than its predecessor The Bravery . The release of the last album so far, Stir the Blood , was on January 12th, 2009.
