The Broadway Travelers
The Broadway Travelers is a collection of major travelogues and voyages of discovery first published in London in the late 1920s and 1930s. The series was edited by the British orientalist Sir Edward Denison Ross (1871–1940) and the English historian Eileen Power (1889–1940). All texts have been translated into English. It represents a unique book series, unmatched in mainland Europe, to which recognized experts of high rank made their contribution. Some translations have been specially made for the series. All works are provided with introductions and notes, maps and appendices as well as indices.
