Maggie ( english The Buzz on Maggie ) is a US -American animated series of the Walt Disney Company in 2005. The 21-part series was created by Dave Polsky devised. The individual episodes were produced in 42 individual stories, which were combined into 21 double episodes for broadcast.

The focus of the action is the life of insects.

The fly Maggie Pesky lives with her family in an old milk carton in a suburban fly metropolis called Stickyfeet, which is in a garbage dump. She goes to school and has the dream of one day becoming a rock star, which is why she practices a lot. However, she always gets into trouble or makes it difficult for her friends. Her brother Aldrin is the most popular at the school and often her adversary. He works in a fast food restaurant called "Buzz Burger".

Maggies is supported in her endeavors by her best friend Reyna Cartflight. Maggie's little brother Pupert Pesky is emulating his big brother, but he lacks his talents and self-confidence. However, his sister often helps him.

Characters

  • Margaret "Maggie" Pesky is a twelve-year-old selfish fly girl who is in the 6th grade in her school and was once an employee of the restaurant "Le Termite". Furthermore, she has a penchant for modern clothes and shrill music .
  • Rayna Cartflight is Maggie's best friend and is usually very naughty.
  • Aldrin Pesky is Maggie's older brother. He's 16 years old and is in 10th grade at Maggie's school, he's even the captain of the football team there.
  • Pupert Pesky is Maggie's younger brother. He is seven years old and likes photography . Unlike his siblings, Pupert is not selfish.

The series was broadcast in the United States from June 17, 2005 to May 27, 2006 on the Disney Channel for the first time and later repeated.

The television series was also broadcast on Disney Channel in French, Italian, Spanish and Finnish.

The German premiere followed on November 16, 2005 on the German Disney Channel. The series was later also broadcast on Toon Disney .
