The Dø is a French indie pop duo that has been in existence since 2007 .

history

The members of The Dø are the composer and multi-instrumentalist Dan Levy, born in Paris in 1974, and the Finnish-French singer Olivia Merilahti . Before founding The Dø, both worked on the music for The Empire of the Wolves . The project's debut album, A Mouthful , was released in France in 2008. It was number one on the French album charts. On the tour that followed, the duo was supported by drummer and percussionist José Joyette.

In 2009 they were awarded the European Border Breakers Award (EBBA).

In March 2011 the second album Both Ways Open Jaws was released .

On September 29, 2014, the band's third album, Shake Shook Shaken , was released in France, Luxembourg, Belgium and Switzerland.
