The DOC (born June 10, 1968 in Houston , Texas ; actually Tracy L. Curry ) is an American rapper and songwriter . He is mainly through his collaboration with Dr. Dre on his album No One Can Do It Better , Dr. Dres The Chronic and Snoop Doggy Doggs are known for doggystyle .
Career
The DOC released its debut album No One Can Do It Better in 1989 on Ruthless Records . Dr. Dre co-produced the album, which sold well. However, shortly afterwards he suffered a car accident in which he nearly died and left his voice permanently damaged. Although he could no longer rap as usual, he worked on the classic albums The Chronic by Dr. Dre and Doggystyle from Snoop Doggy Dogg with. However , he wasn't able to bring his own second album, Helter Skelter , to market until 1996, now with a thin and scratchy voice.
