The Devil in Miss Jones is an American porn film . It was created in 1973 under the direction of Gerard Damiano . Along with its continuation Devil in Miss Jones 2 applies the film as one of the first Arthouse -Pornos of Pornochic and a classic of porn film. The film was ranked 18th on AVN's list of 101 Greatest Adult Tapes of All Time.

Remake
In 2005, director Paul Thomas shot a remake of the classic for Vivid Entertainment Group under the title The New Devil in Miss Jones . The main roles are Jenna Jameson (as Miss Devil) and Savanna Samson (as Justine Jones). The remake cost $ 250,000, according to an article in the NY Times, making it Vivid's most expensive production. Georgina Spelvin can also be seen in a minor supporting role, and the original is in the background of a scene. An article about the remake appeared in the New York Times on August 7, entitled "The Devil is Still In." The remake received 9 AVN Awards in 2006, making it one of the most successful films in the industry.
