Faruq Saleem (born December 6, 1973 in Newark , New Jersey ) is an American boxer who fights under the name The Dream . He has not yet won any major titles. At the end of 2004 he was in the rankings of the WBC and the WBA among the top 10 heavyweight boxers. After he didn't fight a fight in 2005, however, he fell out of the rankings again. Even after that, his opposition did not improve. He never made the big breakthrough through selected opponents from the weaker category. After he finally went KO against Journeyman Shawn McLean, he did not contest a fight.
