The Fang (English for the fang ) is a striking and 3,159  m high mountain peak on the Antarctic Ross Island . It rises as the highest point of the Fang Ridge on the massif of Mount Erebus .

The Australian geologist Frank Debenham gave it its descriptive name during surveys carried out in 1912 as part of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) under the direction of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott .
