The Hump (English for the hump ) is an approximately 150 m high and dome-shaped hill on the Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago . On the north bank of Lapeyrère Bay, it rises at the northern boundary of the entrance to Holt Inlet .
His descriptive name is first recorded on a map that was drawn up in 1927 during survey work by scientists from the British Discovery Investigations .
