Every three seconds a singer steps off the stage until finally only a boy stands on the stage and explains to the visibly moved audience: “Every three seconds the world loses a child. According to the ICF, around eleven million children under the age of five die every year as a result of poverty, hunger, malnutrition, drinking water pollution and a lack of vaccination protection. It follows that on average one child dies every 3 seconds.
