The Pussybats is an alternative - band from Germany.
history
The Pussybats were founded in 2006. In 2007 they won the “Battle of the Bands” by Sonic Seducer magazine , in the same year they performed at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig. In addition to numerous sampler contributions, The Pussybats have so far recorded an EP ( Miss Purgatory , 2007, self-distributed) as well as the single No Romeo (2008) and the debut album Famous Last Songs (2009). The band also recorded the soundtrack for the indie horror film One by One (DVD-Media, 2006). Her dark glam version of the White Town hit Your Woman became a scene hit .
The band had a label deal with Twilight Zone Records , which was dissolved. In order to release the already recorded album PussyPussyBangBang , the band signed with Bellaphon / Gunn Records. This album features a new version of Miss Purgatory , which is already on the band's first demo. As a result, there were some changes to the line-up on the guitar, until Maze Sire was the current line-up.
The Jackass / Viva-La-Bam -Star Bam Margera recorded a cover version of the song Dance with the Devils on his album The Evesdroppers , which was released in September 2016 .
In 2016 The Pussybats switched to the label Eternal Sounds Records, together they released the new album Indestructible in March 2017 . In addition to the band themselves, which also acted as producers, you can hear the ex- cradle-of-filth guitarist Stuart Anstis. The album was mixed by Kris Vlad, singer of the band Vlad in Tears .
