The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is an American band from Middleburg , Florida .

history

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus released their first demo recording in 2006 called Ass Shaker / Justify / Face Down EP . A little later, their first album Don't You Fake It was released. The single Face Down made it to better positions in the US charts only after six months, in March 2007 the song reached number 2. In February 2007 they started their US tour. The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus have been working on their second studio album since summer 2008, which was released in February 2009. Elias Reidy left the company at the end of October 2008. The reasons are so far unknown.

In early September 2011, the band released their third studio album, Am I the Enemy . On July 11, 2011, Ronnie Winter announced that Duke Kitchens and Matt Carter had left the band. They were replaced by long-time fan of the band Josh Burke and Ronnie Winter's brother Randy Winter. In mid-October, drummer John Wilkes also decided to leave the band. His successor is Kristopher Comeaux. On October 14, 2013, the band announced that Matt Carter has returned to the band and will take over the lead guitar on the upcoming 2014 album 4 .
