content

The aim of the film is to promote the protection of the sequoia trees , the tallest and oldest trees on earth. In contrast to the quiet beauty of nature stands the destruction that is left behind when deforestation. It is not the loggers who are found to be guilty as they are subject to the constraints that industrialization has brought with it. In the foreground is the shrinking of the coastal sequoia , which is proof of the incredible creative power of nature, which is opposed to man's destructiveness.

Lobbyists and their efforts to convert the tens of thousands of hectares of sequoia trees into a national park in order to protect the trees play an important role.

Postscript: During the 90th Congress, lawmakers debated whether to create a Redwood National Park. While the members of Congress considered, the trees continued to be cut.
