The Sex Spirit is an American erotic film from director Issac Dovidad , who as 2009 television production for the transmitter chain Cinemax was filmed.
action
Emma inherits a house from her late grandmother, she sets up a bed and breakfast there and advertises it with the spirit that lives in it. The special ability of the mind is to arouse overnight guests in sexual arousal by swirling around them in a fog-like light. The two couples Nicole and Luke as well as Kayla and Michale lodge themselves as guests, who are now excited one after the other by the ghost. The guests and Emma also interact with each other in different constellations, the film ends with a group sex scene.

The film was produced by the production company MRG Entertainment, which specializes in erotic films, for the Cinemax network and was broadcast on various channels and slots in 2009. In August 2010 it was released on DVD by the distribution company Mainline Releasing .
reception
In a review on The Video Vacuum , The Sex Spirit is said to be cheap. It is criticized that the entire film was shot in just one location and that the cast, with the exception of Beverly Lynne, appear disinterested. The depiction of the ghost as the only special effect is pathetic despite the presumably tight budget.
