The Surface Tension was a progressive rock / jazzcore band from Munich .

history

The band was founded in 1988/1989 by Stefan Koglek , Ian John Hudsun ( Roman Bichler ), Flo Dietz and Tim Höfer. In 1991 the formation released their first vinyl album Invar Vigandun in their own production , which was reissued as a CD album in 1995 on the Enlightment Music label . A year later, the second album was released by Luxus Musik . After front man Stefan Koglek and drummer Tim Höfer left the band and founded Color Haze together with ex- Organized Noise bassist Christian Wiesner , Bichler also took over the lead vocals . In 1995 another album called Phoenix was released . Then the band broke up.
