Band history
The band originally started as a makeshift from Craig B. to work with Ian Cook on some of his own songs after Aereogramme was broken up. In the beginning, some songs were written without a commercial background, and the project The Unwinding Hours began to take shape. In August 2009 the band announced their formation on their Myspace page and on February 15, 2010 the self-titled debut album was released. According to the band 's biography, the name The Unwinding Hours comes from Stanley Kubrick's film The Shining and can be read there on a sign in front of the Gold Room .
