history

Aereogramme was founded in Glasgow in 1998 . After a few singles and EPs , her debut album A Story In White was released in 2001 . The next album, Sleep and Release, followed in 2003 . They accompanied bands such as Idlewild , The Delgados and The Cooper Temple Clause live . In 2007, My Heart Has A Wish That You Would Not Go was released , in the same year the termination was announced, but they still played the upcoming and already booked concert dates. The reasons for the dissolution are complex, but not least the financial situation contributed to the decision, according to the group in a post on their Myspace page. The last Aereogramme performance took place on August 31, 2007 as part of the Connect Festival at Inverary Castle , Scotland.

In mid-August 2009 singer Craig B and guitarist Iain Cook announced that they had come together again musically under the name The Unwinding Hours . The debut album The Unwinding Hours was released in Germany on February 12, 2010 and contains songs that were originally solo pieces by the singer Craig B.
