The Very Best of Cat Stevens is the third compilation album by the singer and songwriter Cat Stevens .
history
The third compilation album by Cat Stevens was released in February 1990 and for the first time also included two titles that were released on the Deram Records label, making the compilation more comprehensive than the two previous greatest hits compilation albums (USA: no placement; GB: 4th place ; Germany: 8th place). Nine years later, Remember Cat Stevens - The Ultimate Collection (USA: no publication; GB: 31st place; Germany: 20th place), a compilation of 24 titles published in October 2003 under the name The Very Best of Cat Stevens (USA : no placement; GB: no placement; Germany: 6th place) was released with a DVD. The DVD contains previously unreleased video material.
In March 2000, under the same name with a very similar cover, a compilation of 20 titles was published in the USA, chronologically from 1967 to 1978 (USA: 58th place), which included an unpublished title ( I've Got a Thing About Seeing My Grandson Grow Old ) from the Mona Bone Jakon session; an alternate version of this title appeared on the 2001 Box On the Road to Find Out (Box Set) .
