Thea Dückert

Thea Dückert b. Wischer (born June 5, 1950 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and former member of the Bundestag .

Life and work

After graduating from the Käthe-Kollwitz-Schule in Hanover, Thea Dückert studied economics in Bonn and Regensburg from 1969 to 1974 , which she completed with a degree in economics. After that she worked as a research assistant at the University of Regensburg act where in 1982 their promotion to Dr. rer. pole. with the work ? "- an employment policy tool work projects" took place. She then worked as a research assistant at the Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg . From 1994 to 1998 she was head of the university- trade union cooperation center .

Thea Dückert is married and has one son.

Political party

She joined the Green Party in 1985 . From 1994 to 1995 she was state chairman of the Greens in Lower Saxony .

MPs

Thea Dückert was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from 1986 to 1994 . From 1990 to 1994 she was also the chairwoman of the Greens parliamentary group .

In 1996 she ran unsuccessfully for the office of Lord Mayor in Oldenburg .

From 1998 to 2009 she was a member of the German Bundestag . From 1998 to 2002 she was spokesperson for labor market policy and from 1998 to 2002 also spokesperson for social policy for the Bundestag parliamentary group Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen.

In the Bundestag parliamentary group Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen, Thea Dückert has been the coordinator of parliamentary group I Economy, Labor, Social Affairs, Finance and Economy, Labor, Social Affairs, Finances, Budget (2002 to 2005) and Economy, Labor, Social Affairs, Pension since February 2001 , Health & Care, Finances, Household (since 2005). From 2000 to 2007 she was deputy chairwoman of the Bundestag parliamentary group Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen, from 2007 to 2009 she was its parliamentary director .

Thea Dückert has always entered the German Bundestag via the Lower Saxony state list.

Other public offices

On October 12, 2011 Thea Dückert was appointed as a member of the German National Regulatory Control Council. Since 2013 she has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Salzgitter AG, since 2014 also a member of the administrative board of Norddeutscher Rundfunk and chairwoman of the finance committee there.
