The Theater Academy Mannheim (short THAM ) in Mannheim-Neckar-Ost is an actor and director pupils from. It is a state-recognized vocational school for acting and directing within the meaning of the Private School Act of the State of Baden-Württemberg and BAföG .
structure
3½ school years:
- 1st year with a 1/2 year probationary period: The students are introduced to the canon of all subjects. In practical lessons, the focus is initially on body work, voice training, improvisation and dialogue work. Basics are worked out in singing and stage fighting.
- 2nd school year: The role studies are intensified, ensemble work is added. Depending on the talent, singing is increasingly encouraged.
- 3rd school year: role studies and ensemble work become the focus. Extra talents such as singing, dancing and fencing are encouraged. Camera acting and micro work are optional
- 4th semester with 1/2 year examination level: The students are intensively prepared for the examination.
